English Language Challenges

Hello, so today I'm gonna talk about my thoughts of the English course at the university.
I think that it's very important to have English because it is something basic that everyone needs to know. Today everyone talks in English and the most things in the world are in English. Also it helps in the specialization of any career, if you want to study in another country, triumph in other places, you need to know how to speek english, it's like something obligatory in this times of modernity.

It's a really good idea that the universities have this course, but the only thing that I think that this could improve it's in the area of the talking, making more difficult courses or in the grammar, because i'ts difficult to so many people and I think if we practice the tenses of the begining in the future courses it can be more easy.
Also I notice that the course doesn't have classes related about Dentistry. I think when I join in the course that I will learn the dentistry tools, or dentistry vocabulary.
Sincerely I don't like so much do the blogs, because we can learn more making a class, where everyone participate and interact.
My English in general I think that it descends in the years. I need to practice more, specially the tenses, because sometimes I don't know wich use. And my vocabulary it's too vague.
Outside I use so much the English, because every series, videos, memes in facebook are in English. The games, the music, everything! It's very important to have English 👌

Changes that I would do in my faculty

So how I told in the past posts I'm in studing Dentistry in the University of Chile and there are so many things that I would like to change, because I think that this faculty can do that.
The first thing I would like to change is that I feel that is not much vegetation in this faculty, there are cement walls everywhere. I would like to have spaces to sit on the grass and relax with my friends but there isn't. I would like the faculty plant more plant species for the comfort of all and the environment.
As for class times and study I find that is too much, sometimes we should leave other activities that are proper to the faculty because they clash with class schedules, something that I find disorganized and not acceptable. We all have the right to have time not only to study also to relax.
Also what I don't like is that this faculty is isolated from all other health careers (medicine faculty), therefore with the only people that we can socialize are dentists.
In infrastructure I like but I still think it lacks too many green areas and more space, It's feels so gray walking on the faculty and it is boring.
The only thing that I like is that the method of study used is good, because we have many practices (like in Destrezas) and we can learn the basics of what we will do later, in more years.

Favorite band

I love when we need to talk about or favorite music or band because I like music so much, I feel very well when I listen to it. When I feel sad, happy or I need to do something everytime I put some music.

So leaving all this introduction, I'm gonna talk about my favorite group. Now I don't have one specific, but my favorites are: The kooks, Foster the people, The strokes, Two door Cinema Club (TDCC) and The XX. There are many more groups that I like but those are the principal ones.

I love them because I like alternative music, alternative rock and indie. 

Some time ago I was very connected with this type of music, because the rhythm and the lyrics of the songs made me think about eveything in philosophicall ways, so that helped me in my life. 

The first time when I listened this type of music was on 2011, doing a group work in the house of one of my friends and someone put ''Houdini'' of Foster The People and I begun to listen all their songs. Also I bought the physical disc.

It's my dream to see a live presentation of these bands. This year at the Lollapalooza I saw Tame Impala, Of monsters and men, Twenty one pilots and Die antwoord for the first time, among others and ¡that was awesome!

The next year at Lolla 2017 I hope to see The XX, The Strokes and TDCC. 

Independently that this was may favorite type of music I enjoy others like reggeton (in the carretes) or Cumbia,etc.

                                          

Summer Holidays

For now I'm not sure how my holidays will be in the future, but the first thing I intend to do is to go to my city that is Iquique. It's the only thing I think about now. I don't know if my parents will have planned another trip outside of Chile, but for now I only know that I will go to Iquique.There the first thing I intend to do is everything I couldn't do in Santiago: to ride a bicycle, to have a picnic in the afternoon on the beach, to bathe in the sea, running along the beach, to skate, etc.
Also and the most important thing is that I will relax and rest everything I couldn't in the year. And do nothing productive in my life.
Within the production I will try to register in courses of yoga, pole dance or some kind of dance, I think it is something that I really need and it would do me good.
As for where I would like to travel would be the south of Chile, there are many beautiful parts and landscapes to go, apart from the vegetation there is. I've never gone, so I wish I could know it someday.

Another place I would like to go to is where there are Caribbean beaches or places to relax like Cancun or Colombia.
I love those places apart from how wonderful they are, the people there are very friendly and happy, they radiate happiness and you can relax.
Personally I like all types of food, I don't complain about anything, but for summer I think it would be best to eat fish, seafood or everything related to the sea, especially a ceviche in those hot times. I like it a lot because my dad always prepares.

How to survive SDLE

I want to start saying that I think it was one of the craziest and weirdest weeks I've spent in this year of University. I must say it was the best week. I made new friends, I danced, I drank and I spent good afternoons in Machu all the week. I laughed a lot with the things that others did and was shocked by what some people is able to do. I think that the first advice I would give is to give everything and not be ashamed of the things to do ( obviusly with limits of not giving shame to others) and enjoy and relax, take advantage of making new friends, as everyone is happy and have fun.
Another thing that happens in the week, is that every day there are people drinking and consuming things of dubious origin. Most of the activities also encourage you to drink, so a recommendation is to drink moderately so you will can enjoy the whole week ( because you can have hangover, stomach ache, headache, etc all the days), and if you are going to drink a lot, have friends next to you and a bag or trash can near.

There are many activities to participate in this week, as I said earlier they are very entertaining and if you can I would recommend you to join the activities groups and have a good time. So you share new people and learn new things. Afterwards you will regret not having done so.
Another recommendation is that for no reason you miss the ride to '' Lonquén '', according to my point of view is the best of the week, and if you can try to go by bus with the other people (your friends). Here also they do activities, they dance, you can do roast, and it lasts all the afternoon. I recommend it.

Postgraduate Studies

I will start by saying that I don't know very well what course of postgrade I would take in the future but I think that one it's of Pediatric Dentistry.
I don't know why but I think it's very sweet to work with childrens. I know it's difficult but I like it. I love the childish things, more if they are applied in Dentistry. The decorations of the dental box and the care with which children is very cute.
But I'm not sure of this, because sometimes I hate so much the kids. I have not patience.

 I would like this course were in another country, where I can learn new cultures and languages and meet new people.
I would also like to live close to where I'm taking the course, it would be easier to study and organize my time,
Another course that I would take is Maxillofacial, but I'm still thinking about it because being a Maxillofacial takes much time and labor. But it is very interesting and nice to reconstruct the facial anatomy to someone who lost and needs a facial reconstruction.
See the final result and that the patient thank you, it has no price.
So here are my two choices that I had thought until now, but perhaps in the future I change my thinking and want something different, I feel we are very young and don't know much yet to decide this.

My future job

Today I'm gonna talk about my future job.
Now I'm in first grade in the University studying Dentistry so I think that is obvious that i want to be that.The reason is because I like so much to help the other people with their problems. I think that It's a very beautiful career to help others. I imagine that in the future I will put my Dentistry stand in the front of the ocean, and I will decorate the room with so many Dentistry things and funny things. I will put some music all day for my patients to keep a confidence atmosphere. When I  have to assist some kids I'm going to put on a funny costume. I want the kids to have  a good time. I think that my salary will be good so I will be able to do my other dream job and travel a lot, to know new places and cities, or do other Dentistry courses to learn new languages.

The other dream job that I want to do, not necessarily in many more years, it could be soon. Is that I want to put a Dog Hotel, with Spa or something similar and collect stray dogs in the street and bring them to the Hotel. Also I would like to drive around the city giving food to the stray animals. I imagine that the Hotel can be a big space with lots of vegetation so the dogs can run and play very happily. It can be kept with donations of the people of any kind, like money, food, clothes, toys,etc. I love the animals so I have always wanted to do this. I would like to receive help of others volunteers and organize this better.
